Happy New Year everyone! Our team had a fantastic summer break and are refreshed and ready for a big 2024 of truck building, already rolling out a number of finished beauties including this custom Mack tipper we delivered in January.
Featuring a striking red body and a number of custom features, this client came to us with a very specific vision in mind and our team were more than happy to bring it to life! After consulting with the client our team quickly got to work for this build, ready to create beautiful looking tipper truck that both shined out on the road and helped their drivers get the job done.
DESIGNING THE tipper body
Mack trucks are some of the most impressive units out on the road and this truck was no exception, a big beauty with a powerful 535hp engine. A truck of that size and power needs a big truck body to match, with our client wanted a body 4800mm long x 1150mm high, one of our bigger truck body requests. This was of course no problem for our team, installing the body by utilising Hardened Wear Plate Steel, ensuring that our client would get a premium body with unsurpassed durability and impact strength.
They also wanted the striking ruby red paint job on the body that you’ll see in the photos below, something our talented team we’re happy to apply. With our expertise, skills, and knowledge, and your unique ideas, we can make almost any truck body project come to life, from custom two-pack paint jobs like you can see here to custom decals, LED lights and toolboxes.
Custom Truck Body Features
With the truck body installed it was time to complete this custom Mack tipper build with the features our client needed out on the road. We offer a wide range of customisable options on all of our truck body projects, which is exactly why this client came to AA Diesel. They wanted a tipper body that was built strong with a maximised capacity, but also with the potential to tow a full trailer as well, which is exactly why we installed Rockinger RO500 and all trailer connections on to the body, allowing them to utilise the Mack tippers power to carry bigger loads.
Strength and carrying capacity are important but so is functionality, which is why we installed some additional supportive features to make their drivers’ lives easier. This custom Mack tipper features a handheld wired tipping control unit, one of our most requested items, allowing them to easier control the tipping action for more controlled pours and drops on site. We also installed a Razor electric tarp on the tipper, keeping material inside the truck body out on the road and allowing for quick and easy deliveries once at the destination.
All in all one of our most striking truck bodies and a custom Mack tipper that our client is very happy with!
