There were no April fools inside the AA Diesel factory this month, with our incredible truck engineers building a number of fantastic bodies including this custom Hino GH tipper! The client for this truck body build came to us needing a tipper body that withstand some heavy-duty applications, requiring a 4500mm long x 800mm high body to help them make deliveries on the road.
We met with them to further discuss what they needed for this Hino GH, with this consultancy process always a key part of any truck build. We settled on a number of special features to help their driving team, and as you’ll see we ended up with an elite tipper build that will serve our client well for many years to come!
DESIGNING THE tipper body
This new Hino GH we received from the client was a beauty, coming to us with a crisp white paint job that we would of course match with our own two-pack paintwork. Our factory team are able to apply any paintwork you need on your truck body, along with decals and other visual identifiers to help people instantly recognise your business out on the road or blend in with your existing truck body.
That body we would install would be 4500mm long x 800mm high, 8m³ of volume that was built with Hardened Wear Plate Steel. That body would be supported by twin underbody hoists, ensuring that not only would the body be built tough but it would be able to withstand heavy loads and deliveries with a powerful hoist setup.
This all allowed us to maximise the capacity and capability of this Hino GH, ensuring our client would be able to carry, transport and deliver the materials and equipment they needed to. CUSTOM HINO GH TIPPER FEATURES
With that truck body installed it was time to move on to the custom features for this custom Hino GH tipper, with our client wanting to get ahead of the curve first and foremost with some important additions at the rear of the vehicle. They flagged a need to have towing options for this Hino GH from the start of the build, so we installed a tow bar with a 20-tonne pintle hook to ensure they would be able to tow whatever they needed with their new truck. This was complimented with a trailer air brake and ABS kit, giving them extra driving security out on the road no matter what size of load they would be carrying.
We also installed a manual PVC rollback tarp on the top of this tipper body, ensuring they would be able to secure their load and quickly rollback the tarp once ready to make a pickup or delivery. We finished this build with the aforementioned two-pack paint job, a crispy white spray that will certainly make this Hino GH tipper shine in the autumn sun!
