What materials are the truck bodies made from?
All of our tipper truck bodies are fabricated from superior materials including durable Hardox Wear Plate steel. By using Hardox steel, our clients can be reassured that they will always receive superior quality truck bodies that are built to last. All of our materials are technologically advanced designed to deliver superior quality truck bodies that are built for the demanding nature of the Australian transport industry.
What is the maximum capacity of a tipper truck?
We always take the time to consult with our clients to ensure that we are able to customise the dimensions and design of each tipper body to suit their specific client needs. Truck trailer body capacity can be made to order, based on client specifications. Alternatively, we can determine trailer capacity by matching it to truck height.
How do you convert a prime mover into a tipper truck?
Here at AA Diesel Truck Bodies, we are able to convert prime movers into tipper trucks by performing precise conversions usually including wheelbase modifications. Conversions require high precision so we always ensure that we consult with our clients for exact measurements and requirements throughout the process.
What equipment is used to build the truck bodies?
Here at AA Diesel Truck Bodies, all of our truck bodies are made in-house with state-of the-art specialised machinery and equipment. Our highly trained technicians use cutting edge technology to fabricate our truck bodies including overhead mounted ceiling cranes and superior welding tools.
Can the truck bodies be adjusted to fit any make of truck?
Based on each consultation, we evaluate if it is more suitable to make wheelbase modifications to the existing truck or to adjust the size of the desired truck body. Wheelbase modifications can be performed to accommodate almost any tipper truck body including both chassis extensions and shortening to suit your desired truck body specifications.

Do I have to travel to Dandenong south to have a tipper body installed?
Because all of our truck and trailer bodies are custom made and built to suit individual requirements, we do require that your truck is built here at our Dandenong South workshop to ensure that the body is built to the highest standards. Although this is the case, you do not have to travel personally to our workshop and if you prefer to have your truck transported or professionally moved by your chosen contractor, we can help you organise this.

What is the turnaround time to design, build and install a truck body?
We strive to deliver all our projects on time by providing all of our clients with a fast, reliable turnaround. The time taken to design and build our truck bodies varies per client depending on their unique requirements and specifications. We can assure all of our clients that our team is very efficient at getting truck bodies out on the road on time.
What design/branding options are available?
We offer custom branding on all of our tipper truck bodies including custom decals, stickers and two pack paint colours. Our team works closely with clients to design and install custom branding components that suit their requirements.
What is the warranty provided for the truck bodies?
We provide excellent after sales service and customer care for your peace of mind and that’s why we provide all of our clients with a 5-year workmanship warranty on all of our truck bodies. We only use national and trusted brand suppliers for all components fitted with their own warranties ranging from 12 months to 5 years. We are always striving to provide above and beyond customer service to all of clients before, during and after purchase.
