Spring is finally here and you know our AA Diesel Truck Bodies design team are loving the warm weather flowing through the factory! Speaking of warm weather, we’ve done a ton of jobs for clients based in Queensland recently, including this Custom Fuso Tipper set for delivery to Brisbane.
The AA Diesel brand is spreading fast based on our reputation for premium custom truck bodies, which is exactly what we delivered for this Fuso Tipper. Not only did we install some extra special features on this job, but we had to follow some very strict instructions to ensure that the client got exactly what the needed by the time the truck got to Queensland.
As you’ll see below, this was no issue for our team who have the engineering experience to bring every clients vision to life!
DESIGNING THE TIPPER BODY
After talking with the client about what they needed for this Custom Fuso Tipper, we learnt that we had to be very strict with the body positioning of the build, crafting a 4600mm x 1150mm body with a front mount hoist, exactly where they needed it to be.
This strict positioning was necessary as the client was having a roll over protection system (ROPS) fitted upon delivery. With the right body for the truck installed in the right place, our client will be able to install the ROPS system properly and finish with a truck that looks great with the extra safety features they required!
At AA Diesel, all of our tipper bodies come with premium parts that help to further ensure a long-life for each truck. This Custom Fuso Tipper was built with a Hardened Wear Plate steel body and JOST hydraulics in the front mount hoist, two premium partners of ours who supply only the best products for our customers.
Finishing touches
Now that we had that very specific tipper body installed, it was time to install some extra features that would add to the functionality of this Fuso truck. Designed to be operated with both a tipper body and tipper truck trailer, we installed a handheld wired controller into this built to allow for the operation of each tipper body by the truck’s driver.
Along with this handy handheld controller tipper system, we also installed an electric tarp for the tipper body that would allow for added functionality on the road as well as a PH300 air compensated pintle hook to allow the Fuso to tow the aforementioned tipper trailer.
As you’ll see in the photos below, we completed this build with a beautiful, crisp white two-pack paint job that will definitely shine in the glowing Queensland sun. A terrific tipper build that we’re proud of, and we’re sure our client will love for many years to come!
