2021 was our busiest year yet selling a record number of tippers, trays, and trailers. We worked on a variety of trucks over the course of 2021 and to kick off 2022 we’re looking back on some of our favourite truck body projects. We’ve narrowed it down to our top 5, check them out below.

For this project we worked on a Kenworth hooking it up with a custom built to order tray. After consulting with our client, we determined that the tray needed to be 6.5mt and accommodate a rear mount crane.
The tray was fitted with fall protection strapping to maximise capacity and was also fitted with a tow bar to accommodate a PBS spec trailer.

This Hino truck was fitted with a custom beavertail tray and a number of custom toolboxes to meet Earth-Comm’s specifications. This equipped the truck for the jobs our client would be doing on a daily basis.
To finish off this project, we fitted the tray with a full width mesh ramp and a tow bar.

One of our standout projects was for our client Rowe Civil, requiring a brand new matching tipper and trailer combination.
This trailer included disc brakes, polished alloy rims and an electric tarp.

This project involved hooking a DAF truck up with a new tipper and trailer combination built for Horsham Council through Barry Maney trucks.
This truck had a second fuel tank fitted by AA Diesel as well as a modified air tank mounting to maximise capacity.

This was a whopper of a job working on tippers for three trucks including a Kenworth Cabover, a dark grey Kenworth and a Western Star. Our client was a long-time customer, Larsen Truck Sales who have been one of AA Diesel’s loyal, repeat customers for several years.
The tipper bodies in this project were all finished with custom paint jobs including a grey finish for one of the Kenworth trucks and a metallic finish for the Western Star. We pride ourselves on reliable turnarounds so we ensured that all three of their trucks would be on the road after one month which we managed to achieve!
