One of our favourite highlights from July was building a custom drop side truck body for a Hino truck. This was a large-scale project that required meticulous planning to ensure that the final product met client requirements.
We take time to consult with our clients, making sure their new truck body is designed for their unique requirements, and built for the types of jobs they do on a regular basis. Our client came to us with some big ideas and wanted to ensure that the truck was well-suited for a variety of different jobs.
After consulting with our client, we determined that the truck body must be able to transport diggers and pallets making a drop side tipper the most suitable choice. As a result of this, the tipper required longer and higher drop sides made from Hardox Wear Plate making the drop side doors very heavy. To combat this, we decided to install 2x winches to be able to lift and lower the drop sides safely.
To finish off, this truck body was also equipped with a pull-back retractable mesh tarp, rope rails, tie down point in the body, broom and shovel holders.
Our tipper bodies are built using only the highest quality Hardox Wear Plate steel. This provides our clients with unmatched durability, impact strength, and peace of mind. Each tipper body is custom built in-house using the highest quality materials and our specialised machinery.
