A Busy Month In July
In July, we delivered a substantial number of truck tray bodies to clients across Victoria and interstate. Amongst the truck trays we delivered, one of the more specialised projects was a beavertail tray with custom racks and toolbox for a HINO.
Truck Consultations and Planning
Before building each truck body, including this custom beavertaIl tray, we always take time to consult with our clients, making sure that each truck tray is built to their individual and specific needs, and specialised for the types of work they do on a daily basis.
Beavertail Installation
We then installed a purpose built beavertail tray, with a heavy duty chequer plate floor, hydraulic pumps, and tie down rails. In addition, this client wanted not only to transport machinery, but also to utilise the width of the tray by adding a pipe rack fabricated to their own specifications so they could transport pipe to and from the worksite. We also added custom made cages and boxes to the front headboard and 2 undermount toolboxes allowing extra storage for tools and equipment.
Each and every truck tray we make, including this beavertail tray, feature a heavy duty 125mm RHS sub-frame, cross bearers spaced 350mm apart to avoid bowing and 100mm PFC coaming rail. All of our truck trays are pre-cambered to avoid any potential sagging in future and are built using high quality materials made in-house using our specialised machinery.
