It’s been an incredibly busy period here at AA Diesel as our clients look to wrap projects up before the holiday break, with this Custom UD Tipper Body built on a tight timeline for CMV Truck And Bus Dandenong. CMV needed a truck body builder capable of turning around a tipper body fast while maintaining premium-level workmanship, which is why they came to us for this UD Quon tipper.
We consulted with them on what they needed and committed to a tight timeline that would allow them to get this truck out on the road. Not only did our engineers meet their deadline they exceeded it, getting this fantastic body out on the road in just six working days! Custom UD Tipper Body Design
A key part of every AA Diesel build is the aforementioned consultation process, where we learn exactly what the truck will be used for and what the owner is looking to get out of the truck. From here we can provide advice on what type of truck body is needed and the features our team can design to make the lives of owners and drivers a whole lot easier.
For this custom UD tipper body we decided on a 4500mm long x 1100mm high body, with maximised capacity and functionality on the worksite. This would be supported by a 3 Stage Hidromas Hoist, giving the truck’s owner full control of the tipping action and allowing for precise and efficient deliveries.
We only utilise premium materials and parts in all of our truck and trailer body builds, ensuring our clients receive a premium result every time. That was exactly the case here, a highly functional 4500x1100mm tipper body installed and finished off with a premium two-pack paint job to match the truck’s white cab.
Special Features
While this custom UD Quon required a tight turnaround, that didn’t mean our team forgot about installing some special features on this fantastic build! We knew that CMV Truck And Bus Dandenong wanted this truck to be able to perform some heavy duty work, which is why for this build we installed a PH300 pintlehook tow coupling to ensure it would be able to transport both big loads in the truck body and a trailer down the line.
You’ll also find a Razor electric tarp on the tipper body itself, yet another premium part our team love installing. This tarp can be opened and closed at the press of a button and allows for extra load security out on the road. Its touches like this, done in consultation with our clients, that give our truck bodies that extra special something that truck owners and drivers love, getting a product that is functional, efficient and so much easier to operate out on Australian roads.
A six day build, turning a UD Quon into a fully VASS certified tipper with the exact specifications CMV had in mind! They were thrilled with the result and our ability to get this premium product to them faster, and we have to say we were equally happy seeing this brand new UD Quon hit the road with what is an outstanding tipper body that is Built AAD tough!
