October was another busy month for our talented truck building team, creating several standout builds including this custom Hino 700 tipper with a removeable chipper bin! When our client came to us with this new Hino 700 truck, they wanted to have the functionality of both a tipper body and a chipper bin prime mover, able to securely transport fine materials as well as dump loads when needed with a tipping action.
This would be a complex build but something our team were thrilled to be able to tackle, helping our client create a unique vision with a maximised capacity on this custom Hino 700 tipper. We consulted with the client to determine their exact needs for this truck and started planning immediately, getting to work on a 4800mm long x 1100 high tipper body that would have a unique removable canopy that could be utilised as a chipper bin.
DESIGNING THE CUSTOM HINO 700 TIPPER BODY
As stated above, we collaborated closely with our client throughout the build process, starting by understanding the truck’s daily operations. We knew that they wanted the dual functionality of both a tipper and a chipper body, and needed to be able to swap between the two. We often have clients come through who want a tipper body that acts as a chipper bin as well, but this unique removeable request was something different for our team to tackle and a challenge that we met head on.
As you’ll be able to see in the photos below, this custom Hino 700 tipper now features a removeable 4m canopy that will allow our client to securely transport materials when needed. It is also supported by a 4-Stage In-Well Hoist, giving the tipper itself extra functionality to dump material where needed.

CUSTOM HINO 700 TIPPER FEATURES
As with all our projects, we only use the highest quality materials, including Hardened Wear Plate steel, to ensure strength and longevity. We source all materials and parts used in our truck bodies from only the best providers, helping to your vehicle withstand the conditions on Australian roads and protect the vehicle long into the future.
Some additional, hard-wearing parts in this custom Hino 700 tipper body include a heavy-duty tailgate hinge and a pintlehook towbar. Both of these parts will help the vehicle withstand maximum forces out on the road, able to securely transport big loads in the tipper body and transport large truck trailers via the custom towing setup.
On this build you’ll find rope rails to help further secure those big loads, as well as spray suppressant for the truck body and our famous stainless-steel strips along the truck body’s side. All of our truck bodies also come with two-pack paint to add further protection to the body’s appearance, ensuring your truck stays shining for longer.
Another fantastic AA Diesel build! This was certainly one of the most unique builds that have come out of our factory and we’re happy to say our client was thrilled with the result. They now have a custom Hino 700 tipper with the added functionality of a chipper bin when they need it – basically giving them two trucks in one!
