In March we had a number of exciting projects come through the workshop including tippers, trays, and trailer combinations. One of our favourites though was a brand spanking new Western Star, which was ready to be fitted out with a brand new customer tipper setup. This was a stunning build, and the team really loved working on the project!
For this client, this Western Star was their first brand new truck and so we went all out in helping him to design a truck that would no doubt keep him happy until he goes into retirement.
One of the things we pride ourselves on is making sure that each and every client gets the right body for their specific business needs. By spending an extended amount of time with our clients upfront, we can get a solid understanding of the types of jobs they do on a daily basis, how the body needs to function to fit in with what they do, and their own individual preferences.
We then design and build the body to these exact specs. In the long run, this means that each truck body will be as productive and efficient as possible.
After the planning and design process was completed, we built and fabricated a brand new Hardox steel tipper body with an in well hoist. The body was fitted with a two way singing tailgate, additional lights, stainless steel strips and spray suppressant.
Next, we fitted two heavy duty stainless steel toolboxes (not included in photos below), an electric red PVC tarp (also not pictured), and red stickers to match the colour of the chassis.
The client is also planning to add a trailer in future. To accommodate for this, we fitted truck and trailer hydraulics with a hand held controller, as well as a PH300 pintle hook so he can easily connect and tow his trailer.
This truck is also due to have even more lights and chrome detail fitted to it before it is delivered. It is going to be one stunning unit when it is out on the road!
All of our truck bodies, including the ones mentioned here are built using the highest quality materials, made in-house using our specialised machinery, and crafted by our expert technicians. All of our tipper bodies are also made from Hardox Wear Plate steel, which provides long lasting durability in the tough Australian transport conditions.
