After another busy month of fabricating a variety of truck bodies, we are looking back on some of our highlight jobs. We have been seeing an increasing number of Fuso trucks come through our workshops recently with one of our highlight jobs involving installing a Fuso truck with a new beavertail tray and two custom toolboxes.
Consulting with the client
Before we build each tipper body, we always take time to talk to our clients about the types of jobs they will be doing on a daily basis and their preferences. This allows us to tailor each truck body to their specific business needs, so that they can be as productive and efficient as possible, in everything they do.
Fabricating the beavertail tray and toolboxes
After ensuring that we understood our clients custom specifications’, we got to work on fabricating and installing the beavertail tray. We fitted the bevertail with a heavy duty chequer plate floor, two under mount toolboxes, and an electric fuel pump and reel for refuelling the machines our client would be using on a regular basis. To finish off, we added custom auger and motor mounts to the headboard along with an excavator bucket support.
Each and every truck tray we make, including this beavertail tray, feature a heavy duty 125mm RHS sub-frame, cross bearers spaced 350mm apart to avoid bowing and 100mm PFC coaming rail. All of our truck trays are pre-cambered to avoid any potential sagging in future and are built using high quality materials made in-house using our specialised machinery.
