We’ve been ramping up production in February producing a large volume of truck bodies including tipper bodies, truck trays, truck trailers and custom builds. Throughout the month, we had the privilege of working on some great trucks including a number of Macks that came through the workshop. We had the pleasure of building tipper bodies for a couple of brand new trucks, a Mack Anthem and Mack Trident.
Before we build each tipper body, we always take time to talk to our clients about the types of jobs they will be doing on a daily basis and their preferences. This allows us to tailor each truck body to their specific business needs, so that they can be as productive and efficient as possible, in everything they do.
After consulting with our client, we got started on the Mack Trident. We fabricated a tipper which was 4.5mt long with a 1.15mt high body. This tipper was fitted with a range of special features including an electric tarp. two way swinging tailgate, extension ladder, stow away ladders, a JOST oil tank, and our very own engineered towbar assembly. To finish off this job, the new body was branded with our signature AA Diesel Truck Bodies stickers in a custom red, which really pops against the white finish on the truck.
Once we had determined the exact specifications for this truck, we ensured to take extra care in planning the execution of this project. This was the first time our team has had the chance to work on the brand new Mack Anthem, so the crew was very excited! Given it was a brand new truck, it was crucial we get every detail right.
We designed, built, and fabricated a 4.7mt long tipper truck body with 1.15mt high sides. We then added a custom trailer, ensuring that the height matched to the tipper, for those smooth sightlines when you look in the wide mirror! This truck body was then fitted with automatic truck and trailer controls inside the cabin, a two-way swinging tailgate for both tipper and trailer, an electric tarp and our specially engineered towbar assembly.
All of our truck bodies, including the ones mentioned here are built using the highest quality materials, made in-house using our specialised machinery, and crafted by our expert technicians. All of our tipper bodies are also made from Hardox Wear Plate steel, which provides long lasting durability in the tough Australian transport conditions.

May was a busy month at AA Diesel Truck Bodies with a range of sensational projects: wheelbase modifications, tipper bodies, trailers, trays, and custom jobs. . One of the definite stand out jobs for this month was designing, building, and fabricating a state-of-the-art, demountable tipper body for a new Mack Trident.
April was another month filled with exciting projects ranging from tipper bodies and truck trays to trailer combos and custom builds. One of the really exciting projects we were pleased to work on involved performing a chassis stretch and fitting a new tipper body on a Mack for our client, Future Constructions.
A number of truck tray bodies were delivered to our clients across Victoria in April. But if we had to choose some favourites, then without a doubt, one of our highlights for the month was a brand-new Mercedes-Benz Actros 2535, fitted with a custom long beavertail tray and removable racks.
