September was one of our busiest months to date with new tippers, trailers, and trays flying out the door. We worked with a variety of clients each with their own unique truck requirements, one of our standout projects included fitting this stunning Kenworth K200 with a new tipper body.
Before we build each tipper body, we always take time to talk to our clients about the types of jobs they will be doing on a daily basis and their preferences. This allows us to tailor each truck body to their specific business needs, so that they can be as productive and efficient as possible, in everything they do.
After consulting with our client, we decided that to accommodate the tipper body, the wheelbase should be extended. We extended the wheelbase by 900mm by means of axle roll back to allow a 4.5m long body. We then went ahead and fitted the truck with a Rockinger tow coupling, electric PVC tarp and hydraulic components to suit truck and trailer application.
Like all of our truck bodies, we finish off the build with premium 2 pack paint that we have colour matched to the truck cabin, or in any colour of choice.
Our tipper bodies are built using only the highest quality Hardox Wear Plate steel. This provides our clients with unmatched durability, impact strength, and peace of mind. Each tipper body is custom built in-house using the highest quality materials and our specialised machinery.
