Looking Back on August
In the month of August, we delivered a significant number of tipper bodies to clients all around Victoria and interstate. We spent a lot of time on custom projects and trailers including one of our highlight projects for the month involving the construction of a new tipping trailer for Rowe Constructions.
Client Specifications and Design
This project required a lot of careful planning to ensure that the trailer was specifically designed and built to suit the needs of the client. We took lots of time to consult with the business about the kinds of jobs they would be completing on a daily basis, as well as any other requirements they needed.
3 Axle Dog Trailer
The construction of this trailer was specifically built to match the tipper body we had built for our client previously, we ensured that all the details from the previous truck body build matched the trailer we planned to build. We were able to maximise the size of the trailer body achieving a length of 5.3mt with 1050mm high sides.
To finish off, the trailer was fitted out with an electric tarp, steel rims, disc brakes and air bag suspension. We also chose to install weight scales that we integrated into the EBS/ABS wiring. These scales communicate with the truck allowing the driver to view the trailer weight on the Volvo dash display.
Hardox In My Body Member
All of our truck and trailer bodies are made from Hardox Wear Plate steel, which provides long lasting durability in the tough Australian transport conditions. Each truck body is custom built in-house using the highest quality materials and our specialised machinery.
