Bluey's Tree Removal Tipping Bin
After a busy EOFY period, we’ve been getting back into the swing of things fabricating a substantial amount of truck bodies including tipper bodies, truck trays, and trailers. We had the pleasure of working with a returning customer, Bluey’s Tree Removals, helping to design and build them a new tipping bin.
Tipper Body Consultations
When planning a truck body project, we take the time to consult with our clients, ensuring that the truck body is designed and built to suit their specific needs. This ensures that they are well-equipped for the types of jobs they will be doing on a day-to-day basis.
Wheelbase Modifications and Tipper Body Installation
This Fuso truck was originally brought to us as a tray and after some consultation, we decided to lift the tray off the truck to provide us with a fresh canvas to work on. Following this, we shortened the wheelbase by removing a section of the chassis before relining and conducting reinforced driveline shortening and repositioning.
Next, we worked on the installation of the tipper body. Taking the nature of Bluey’s work into consideration, we agreed on building a 5.3m long body with 1.6m high sides giving it a total capacity of 19.5m³. We followed by adding an extra heavy-duty tailgate with a fabricated V for their wood chipper as well as a 1200mm long tool box for chain saws. To finish off this tipper body, we installed a manual roll back PVC tarp and topped it off with a fresh coat of Bluey’s classic blue two-pack paint.
At AA Diesel, we know how important it is to ensure that every aspect of the truck is specifically tailored to the client’s unique requirements, right down to the smallest of details.
