This month we delivered several tipper bodies for both new and used trucks for our clients across Melbourne. One of our standout jobs for the month included a custom built Hino tipper with a custom frame.
Before we build each tipper body, we always take time to talk to our clients about the types of jobs they will be doing on a daily basis and their preferences. This allows us to tailor each truck body to their specific business needs, so that they can be as productive and efficient as possible, in everything they do.
To kick off this project, the 8m3 tipper body was fitted with a manual lockable center divider allowing our client to separate and carry two different types of material in one load. This improves efficiency as the client can deliver two different products in a single trip, reducing driving time, fuel consumption and wear and tear on the vehicle.
After consulting further with our client, the tipper body also needed to be adjusted to carry extra-long sheets of reinforcement. To tackle this, we installed a custom headboard frame and a rear removable hurdle to allow the long sheets to overhang the truck cabin. This means that the client can now safely carry reinforcement sheets at the same time as carrying product inside the tipper.
To finish off the upgrades for this project, the tipper body was also fitted with full length rope rails along both side walls and rear tailgate.
All of our truck and trailer bodies, including this custom truck body, are made from Hardox Wear Plate steel, which provides long lasting durability in the tough Australian transport conditions. Each truck body is custom built in-house using the highest quality materials and our specialised machinery.
