In April, we delivered a variety of truck bodies across Victoria and interstate, as clients rush to get their orders in before end of financial year to take advantage of government incentives. One of our more specialised projects for the month included a Kenworth custom tipper body for Besimi Bros.
Before building or modifying each tipper body, we always take time to consult with our clients, making sure that each project is built to their individual and specific needs, and specialised for the types of work they do on a daily basis. We complete all of our work in-house with premium materials under one VASS certificate (issued by our in-house engineer) ensuring that our clients always receive the highest quality truck bodies and peace of mind.
This truck was really fun for the team to work on as it was an older model Kenworth built in 1983. After consultations, we opted not to extend the wheelbase/chassis for this truck. Instead, we opted to maximise the height of the body by extending the sides of the tipper to 1150mm high, allowing it to carry a higher volume of product.
To finish off this project, we took the time to match the colours on both the chassis and the cab as well as fit the body with custom spray suppressant stainless strips.
Our tipper bodies are built using only the highest quality Hardox Wear Plate steel. This provides our clients with unmatched durability, impact strength, and peace of mind. Each tipper body is custom built in-house using the highest quality materials and our specialised machinery.
