Welcome back to another monthly wrap from the team here at AA Diesel Truck Bodies. With the recent increase in infrastructure projects in Melbourne and a boom in the civil construction industry, the demand for truck bodies is increasing quickly. So needless to say, February was a big month here, as we delivered 18+ tipper bodies, amongst other projects, to our clients across Melbourne and greater Victoria.
All of our tipper bodies are made from wear resistant Hardox steel, and are designed and built to each customer’s unique specifications. This month, we had a mix of trucks, some built with well mount hoists, and others with front mount hoists where the customers required clear floor space.
The smaller tipper trucks delivered this month were fitted with underbody hoists. These trucks are usually ordered by companies with small earthmoving equipment, and are perfectly set up to tow small plant trailers. Many of them also come fitted with built in toolboxes, which are typically 2200mm wide, up to 1 meter high with shelving, and have doors fitted on each end.
We also offer a range of features for out tipper bodies, including wheel base modifications, truck and trailer hydraulics, hydraulic pumps, trailer coupling, custom wind out tarps, tie down rails, two way swinging tail gates, Bartlett ball setups or air operated pintle, and a premium paint finish in any colour of your choice.
