In November, we delivered 14 tipper bodies in total, including a mixture of both brand new and second hand truck conversions.
One of the standout jobs included building a tipper body for a brand new Isuzu, purchased at Westar Truck Center for a garden supply yard. The tipper body was 5500 long by 800 high, and included a custom made tailgate partition in the middle of the tipper body. This allows the client to carry two types of product without mixing them together, and gives them a huge advantage because they can make two deliveries in one run. It saves the client time, money and leads to less wear and tear on the new truck.
For this same customer, we also built heavy duty tail light protectors, as he was having ongoing problems with drivers constantly damaging and breaking tail lights when tipping product out or reversing into jobs. Needless to say he was very happy with the solution we came up with! Check out the pics below.
All of the other tipper bodies this month included a mixture of 8, 10 and 12 cubic meter bodies. Most had trailer towing cross members fitted with 127mm Bartlett ball hitches, 50 mm rockinger couplings, and pintal hooks ranging from 8 to 33 tones. In addition, all the completed jobs included high quality finish paint jobs which we pride ourselves in. For each job, colour is matched using a spectro system which results in a 95% or better match between the body and cab.
